The Companion
Walking beside your English.
Some experiences
ask you to learn something new.
Others
quietly remind you of something you already carry.
The Companion belongs to the second kind.
Some conversations don't need a classroom.
They need time.
The Companion is a face-to-face encounter for moments when English becomes something more than a language.
A meaningful journey.
A season of transition.
A question that hasn't yet found its shape.
Or simply the desire to slow down and reconnect with your own voice.
We meet.
We walk.
We sit.
We talk.
English becomes part of the landscape rather than the destination.
Here, your life leads.
Your curiosity leads.
Your questions lead.
And, as it so often does...
English follows.
Some conversations ask for more than a screen can offer.
They ask for shared presence.
The small pauses.
The walk between ideas.
The quiet moments that don't need filling.
That's why The Companion only happens in person.
Here the idea is
One insight…
might be worth sitting with.
It's something I don't think I've spoken about before.
My work isn't really about confidence.
Somehow, we all find our way there.
I’d say it is something gentler:
Familiarity.
Feeling at home.
Feeling at ease.
Feeling like your own voice has somewhere to live.
That's why I think "Just Be Yourself English"
feels authentic.
To me, that's the quiet heartbeat running through my entire website, and The Companion feels like the place where that heartbeat can be heard most clearly.
I think there's something genuinely distinctive there, and I am in love with shaping it into an experience that people can almost feel before they even book it.
Some conversations unfold more naturally while walking through a park.
Others over coffee.
Some while preparing for an important journey.
Others simply because life has become full, and it's time to pause.
The Companion
is an invitation to bring English into real moments, where conversation has space to breathe and your voice can settle into its own rhythm.

Every Companion
takes its own shape.
Why The Companion?
Over the years, I began to notice something.
Many people came looking for better English.
Yet, beneath the grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation,
there was often something else quietly asking for attention.
A desire to slow down.
To think out loud.
To make sense of a new chapter.
To prepare for something meaningful.
Or simply to spend time in conversation without feeling the need to perform.
I realised that some of the most meaningful moments in my work
happened when English quietly stepped into the background...
and the person gently stepped forward.
The Companion grew from those moments.
Every Companion begins differently.
The reason people arrive is never quite the same.
People arrive here for all kinds of reasons.
Some are preparing for a meaningful journey.
Some are standing at the beginning of a new chapter.
Others simply feel drawn to spend unhurried time in conversation.
Whatever brings you here, every Companion begins in the same place:
with the person, not the programme.
Different Ways We May Companion
The editions
The Three-Hour Companion
The Classic Experience
The Half-Day Companion
Five hours.
Lunch together.
Walking.
Several different settings.
One long unfolding conversation.
The Journey Companion
One or more consecutive days.
Could be Brazil.
Could be overseas.
Could even accompany you before you fly.
Every Companion looks a little different. Yet certain things remain beautifully constant.
The Companion Principles
One companion, one person.
This is never rushed or shared with a group.Time is protected.
No squeezing it between other appointments. The setting serves the conversation.
We choose places that invite ease, curiosity, and
genuine dialogue.English lives in the experience.
We don't step out of life to practise English. We step into life and let English accompany us.No two encounters are identical.
Each one is designed around the person and the moment they're living.
Depending on the encounter, there may be:
preparation before we meet
a thoughtfully chosen location
uninterrupted conversation
spontaneous activities if they naturally arise
coffee or a shared pause
notes and reflections afterwards
suggested next steps if you'd like them
How does The Companion work?
It begins with a three-hour face-to-face encounter.
We choose a place that suits the moment.
Sometimes we walk.
Sometimes we settle into a café.
Sometimes we move between places.
The conversation is unhurried, and English becomes part of a real shared experience.
If that first encounter feels valuable, we can meet again months later, spend a half-day together, or even design a Companion experience around an important journey.
Where the Rhythm Begins
The Rhythm
- Three hours creates a different rhythm.
Long enough for conversation to settle.
Long enough for curiosity to appear.
Long enough for English to stop asking for attention...
and simply become part of the afternoon.
When someone asks me what I do, I say:
I'm an English Experience Designer.
That's exactly how it feels.
The Companion reveals what that actually means.
I don't just design English experiences.
I design conditions.
Conditions where:
people stop performing,
conversation becomes real,
curiosity returns,
English finds its natural place.
English isn't just the product.
It's the atmosphere.
Maybe that's where the difference lives.
And honestly…
I can’t wait to design one that feels unconditionally beautiful for you!
