Hi, I’m Rodrigo Gengo.

I work with people who want to feel more at home in English, not just “speak correctly”, but more importantly:

express themselves.

Our sessions are less about ticking boxes…
and more about opening space.

  • Space to think.

  • To try.

  • To find your rhythm with the language.

ENGLISH EXPERIENCE DESIGNER

A man with beautiful side burns and a style moustache, wearing a striped short-sleeve shirt, standing against a plain wall. He is touching his head with his right hand, which has an amazing tattoo sleeve.

More than teaching.
Designing conditions where your voice leads,
and English follows.

I don’t see myself as a traditional English teacher.

I see myself more as an
English Experience Designer.

For years, I noticed that many learners spend enormous energy working on the outside:

More exercises.
More corrections.
More rules.
More practice.

And while those things have their place, I began to notice something deeper.

When a learner’s inner world begins to shift...
when their self-talk softens...
when awareness enters the room...
when their natural voice starts to come alive...

English often begins to follow

My work is not simply about pronunciation, grammar, or vocabulary. My work is much more about helping people explore the parts
of themselves that may still be waiting quietly beneath the surface.

Because every person carries unexplored potential. And when that potential is gently lit, practice no longer feels like pressure.

A circular logo with the words 'Curiosity Is Home' and an illustration of a globe in the center.
  • It becomes discovery.

  • It becomes joy.

And sometimes...
the smallest shifts create the most beautiful changes in the way we speak, connect, and express who we truly are.

That is why I call myself an
English Experience Designer.

My Philosophy

A hand-drawn cartoon character with closed eyes, a big smile, and spiky hair, surrounded by small lines indicating brightness, with a thinking bubble that says "Just be Yourself by JBY."

My Philosophy

Design with a circular border and the text "Grateful for the small things" surrounding a small branch with leaves in the center.

I don’t see English as something to be mastered.
I see it as something to move within.

For me, learning a language isn’t about collecting rules
or trying to get everything right.

It’s about creating a space where you can think, explore,
and gradually feel more at ease expressing who you are.

There’s no single path here.

Some days will be light & flowing.
Others might feel slower, more reflective.

Both are part of the process.

I’m not here to correct every step.
I’m here to walk alongside you —
helping you notice what’s already working,
and gently opening new possibilities as we go.

Little by little,
English stops being something “out there”…

and starts to feel like a place you can return to.

Just Be Yourself.
The rest can grow from there.
